Chief’s Welcome

Text Box: On behalf of myself and the dedicated men and women of the Oak Hill Police Department we welcome you to our web-site.

The Oak Hill Police Department is a full-service Police Department that strives to partner with the community. Since the creation of the Oak Hill Police Department our primary goal has been to provide a tradition of professional excellence and courteous service handled efficiently, with the concerns of our residents as our number one priority. With the implementation of the Police Department's website, we hope to broaden the public's knowledge of how the Police Department is operated on a daily basis. The eyes and ears of our community are the best tools for any law enforcement agency in the fight against crime. The most effective community is one that understands the challenges that police officers face on a daily basis. We at the Oak Hill Police Department are committed to serving all segments of our community and are always open to suggestions on how to improve our service.

We plan on updating and improving our site constantly. We are also providing the community with the opportunity to communicate with us by using e-mail. Please feel free to communicate any concerns or questions you may have.

Since 2004 our City’s crime rate continues to drop. These crime statistics are even more impressive when viewed in the context of our city's population increase over the past several years. Oak Hill is proud to have one of the lowest crime rates in the area. These impressive rates show that our new approach to fighting crime does work.

As our growing community moves forward, the Oak Hill Police Department will continue to improve our service to the community. We will always take the most innovative strides to stay up to date with the most efficient ways to serve and protect the citizens of Oak Hill.

If you have any specific concerns please call or email me at chief@oakhillfl.com. I will be more than happy to meet and speak with you.

						Sincerely,
						Chief of Police
