The Volusia County Fire Services Station 22, 213 N. U.S. Hwy 1, Oak Hill has facilities for only accepting used motor oil.

Citizens needing to dispose of paint, fuel, pesticides, batteries or other types of hazardous materials besides motor oil are directed to the Volusia County Landfill, located at 900 Tomoka Farmd Road, Daytona Beach. Their local phone number is (386) 423-3300. If any hazardous material items with the exception of motor oil are left at the Oak Hill facility, it is illegal dumping and carries a $500 fine.
