From the City of Oak Hill Economic Development Board
In an effort to garner a new level of communication between the City and the business community, the Economic Development Board decided to contact each licensed business owner in Oak Hill. By running your business we realize you have a special insight that others may not have.
We believe as a voluntary advisory group set up to help the City commissioners decide on issues that
effect us all economically, we wanted to find out what others in the community have on their minds
regarding the following items:
With the imminence of future development in our City, we would like to know what you think
should be set as priorities.
- Having a forward looking plan is much better than waiting for progress to force us to
react.
We would cordially like to invite you to our meetings.
- We have public participation at the end of each meeting for you to speak your views.
- We, the EDB, can forward concerns or issues to the City commissioners if need be.
- Our meetings are quick, they typically only last one hour.
- A good way to network with other members of the community.
- Meetings are once a month, set on the third Wednesday of the month at 6PM in the
meeting room at City hall.
April’s meeting scheduled for 4/18.
May’s meeting scheduled for 5/16.
June’s meeting scheduled for 6/20.
• Any changes can be seen on the City’s website or can be confirmed by
calling City Hall during normal business hours.
